Champions are made in Miami
Founded in 2001 by brothers Marcos and David Avellan, FFA was the first MMA academy in South Florida. Each has trained for over two decades and competed across the world — from ADCC World Championship medals to the creation of the renowned Kimura Trap System.
Our coaches have trained and cornered athletes including Jorge “Gamebred” Masvidal, Kimbo Slice, Alex Caceres, Michael Chandler, and Phil Davis. Whether you want self-defense, fitness, or a shot at the cage, you'll learn from people who have done it at the highest level.
